Description
Gillmoss Lodge is a lodge built around the 1860s, likely designed by J. Douglas. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof with tile cresting. The building is single-storey and has two bays. The second bay includes a canted bay window topped with a cornice and a hipped lead-clad roof. There is a stone lintel and a sill band above the windows. The central window is a two-light window with a red stone colonnette. The entrance features a bracketed timber gable set on a stone base, with a stone bench to the left. The right side of the lodge has two bays, with the second bay projecting under a gable. There are two brick stacks on the building.
