Description
The Sefton Arms Cottages, located on Ribbler’s Lane, comprise three cottages that were originally a public house and stables, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of stone with a slate roof. The main section on the right-hand side has a boarded door, quoins, and three casement windows on each floor. To the left is a stable block in an L-shaped plan, attached to the rear of the main house. This section features three-light casement windows, boarded doors, quoins, and two windows with segmental heads. Arrow slits are also visible. The cottages form a group with numbers 63 and 65, 81 and 83, 101 and 103, 121 and 123.
