Description

The Vicarage, built in 1848, is a two-storey building constructed of red sandstone with a slate roof featuring steep gables. It includes stone mullioned and transomed windows, as well as a bay window that is glazed to floor level. There are pointed arched windows on the return sides and an external projecting chimney adorned with a shield of arms. The Vicarage, along with the Church of St Chad, its stables, and gate piers, forms a group with Kirkby Hall Lodge.
