Description

The dock retaining walls at Salthouse Dock were built in 1841, with the east quay being realigned in 1855. Designed by J. Hartley, the walls are constructed from granite rubble that has been finished to a fair face. These walls provide access to the Albert and Canning docks, as well as Wapping Basin.
