Description

The Pumphouse Public House, originally a hydraulic engine house, accumulator tower, and chimney, was built in the 1870s. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. The engine house has a gable with a louvre, while the round chimney, which sits on a square base, has a machicolated cap on the north side. The lower part of the accumulator tower is located to the south.
