Description

Boundary Bridge is a canal bridge located on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, built in 1835 and widened in 1861 for the Liverpool Health Committee. The bridge is constructed of stone and cast iron. It features an original stone round arch, which is flanked by cast iron segmental spans that rest on stone abutments with rusticated bases. The bridge has solid iron parapets that include plaques noting the widening.
