Description
These are a pair of early 19th-century houses located on Hope Street. The houses are of brick construction with stone dressings and a slate roof. They are three storeys high with a basement, and each house has three bays. The design incorporates a stone basement, a sill band to the first floor, a top frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows are sash windows with wedge lintels; the first and second floor windows have glazing bars, while the central windows on the second floor are blind. The entrances are topped with consoled pediments and feature six-panel doors. Iron area railings are also present.
