Description

This is a house dating from the 1820s, situated on the north side of Blackburne Place. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings, and has a slate roof. The house is two storeys high, with a basement, and comprises two bays. A sill band runs along the first floor, and a top frieze and cornice are present. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars. The main entrance has a plain lintel and a half-glazed door. The basement entrance is distinguished by a chamfered lintel.
