Description
The Belvedere Public House is part of a terrace of eight houses located on Falkner Street, built in the second quarter of the 19th century. The buildings are constructed from brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. They rise three storeys with a basement, with each house typically having two bays, except for No. 33, which has three bays. Architectural details include a basement lintel band, a first-floor sill band, a top frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows are fitted with wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars. The entrances are adorned with angle pilasters, entablatures, and blocking courses. There are iron railings leading to the areas and steps, some of which have decorative heads. No. 33 also features a brick wall at the end bay and a one-bay return. The Belvedere Public House itself has three bays and showcases an early 20th-century cornice on the first floor, along with window and door hoods.
