Description
The National Westminster Overseas Bank is an office building from the 1890s, constructed of stone with a granite base and rusticated lower sections. It stands five storeys high and features five bays. The ground floor includes two doorways with bull's eyes above them, while the first and second floors have three paired cross windows separated by pilasters with carved capitals. The second-floor windows are ogee-headed and cusped. Above the second floor, there are panels carved in relief. The third floor contains nine round-headed lights with moulded arches and a modillioned cornice above. A string course runs along, and the top floor features three round-arched windows with a balustraded balcony. The building is topped with a dentilled cornice and a ramped parapet, along with flat-roofed dormers and tall moulded stacks at the gables.
