Description
Nos. 78 and 80 on Halewood Road are two houses built before 1840. They are constructed of stone and topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys, with No. 78 featuring two bays and No. 80 having one bay. Both houses have quoins, and their windows are adorned with stone surrounds and triple keys. No. 78 has small-paned casements, while No. 80 has sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance to No. 78 is centrally located and round-headed, complete with an architrave, imposts, and a readed frieze, leading to a six-panel door. No. 80 has a round-headed entrance on its left side. The adjacent No. 76 is of no special interest.
