Description
Canal Bridge (Number 45) is a bridge over the Lancaster Canal, opened in 1797 and designed by engineer John Rennie. It is constructed from squared sandstone blocks and features a single elliptical arch with a stepped keystone. Below the solid parapet, which has a rounded top, there is a decorative band.
