Description

This is a 17th-century house, subsequently altered. It is constructed of rendered rubble with a steep roof of artificial slate, replacing what was originally thatch. The house is one storey in height with an attic. It has modern windows and doors set within rendered surrounds. To the left of the main entrance door are two windows, and to the right are two further windows with a second entrance door between them. Three dormers light the attic. A chimney is located to the left of the front door.

Inside, the section of the house to the right of the main door contains two cruck trusses. The upper parts of these trusses are visible in the attic, although they no longer support the roof. One truss incorporates re-used timber, while the other is constructed from lighter timber with bark still visible. The room to the left of the main door features two chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, resting on a chamfered and stopped firehood bressumer, which has a heck post with a decorated top.
