Description

Stocks located on the south side of the market cross in Poulton-le-Fylde, with an uncertain date of origin. The structure consists of a pair of short rectangular stone pillars. The inner faces of these pillars have slots carved to accommodate a pair of raised wooden stock beams, which feature two pairs of leg-holes. The wooden beams have been replaced multiple times over the years, and the entire structure was temporarily removed during the 1930s.
