Description

The Market Cross, likely dating from the 17th century, is located in the Market Place of Poulton-le-Fylde. It is constructed of stone and features a Tuscan column made up of three tapered stone cylinders. The column is topped with a square cornice and a ball finial, which supports a cross. This structure is raised on a square pedestal with panelled faces and stands on a wide circular plinth that consists of four steps.
