Description
Sanderson House Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are 20th-century casements with plain reveals, and there are gablets above the first-floor windows. Each window has a projecting band above the lintel, which on the ground floor connects to form a storey band over the first and second windows. This band ends at a straight joint to the right of the door, which is located to the right of the second window. The third bay appears to be an addition. There are chimneys with brick caps situated between the first and second bays and another behind the ridge towards the right. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in March 1987.
