Description

This pair of boundary stones, likely from the early to mid 19th century, are made of sandstone and have a triangular shape. Each stone is inscribed with 'Bickerstaffe' on the left-hand face and 'Aughton' on the right-hand face. The lettering on the north-eastern stone appears to be older. Portions of these boundary stones are located in Bickerstaffe Civil Parish.
