Description
Lathom's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, which has been extended and altered over time. It features roughcast render, likely over brick, and has a stone slate roof. The building has a three-bay baffle-entry plan with a one-bay addition or altered shippon at the right-hand end. It stands two low storeys high and has three windows. At the junction of the first and second bays, there is a gabled single-storey porch. Each floor has three 3-light casement windows, with the ground floor windows being taller and all having altered glazing. Additionally, there is a large rectangular 4-light casement window at the ground floor of the fourth bay. The farmhouse has a ridge chimney at the junction of the first and second bays and a gable chimney to the right. The rear of the building includes a single-storey back extension to the second bay and a later extension to the fourth bay. The interior has not been inspected.
