Description
This is a stone arch located approximately 300 metres southeast of Worden Hall, likely dating from the late 18th century and designed in a romantic style. The arch is constructed from rubble, featuring dressed quoins and voussoirs. It has a single high rounded arch that spans over a waterfall, which is supported by a crude rectangular turret with a dry gargoyle on the south bank. On the north bank, the arch appears to be partially broken, with one third of it remaining. Part of this structure is situated within Euxton civil parish.
