Description

Howick Cross is a wayside cross, likely dating from the medieval period, which was restored in 1919. The original part of the cross is the base, a roughly hewn cube-shaped block measuring 75 centimeters wide and 60 centimeters deep. This base stands on a stone plinth that has an inscription commemorating peace in 1919. The cross itself is 1 meter high.
