Description
The Lindens is a house dating from the late 18th century, built of watershot coursed sandstone with a slate roof featuring end wall chimneys and skylights. The building has a double-depth plan and consists of three bays, standing two storeys tall. At the junction of the first and second bays, there is a panelled door framed by a pedimented architrave. The ground floor features three stepped triple-light windows, while the first floor has seven vertical rectangular windows. The right side of the building has a restored double flight of external stone steps leading to the first floor, and the rear includes some flush mullion windows. Inside, there is an original staircase with an open string, triple balusters, and a ramped handrail, along with original doors that have fielded panels. The property also boasts extensive vaulted cellars with rear access.
