Description
A row of ten back-to-back cottages, dating from the late 18th century, that have been altered and are now used as five dwellings. The cottages are constructed of watershot coursed sandstone, with a slate roof featuring four ridge chimneys and a gable chimney at the left end. They have a double-depth plan and five bays. The cottages have two storeys, and the gable faces the lane. The east front displays five doorways, each protected by a slab canopy supported on beaked brackets. To the left of each door is a stepped window with three parts, and a smaller rectangular window is positioned above the doors on the first floor. All these windows feature a large rectangular middle light and narrow side lights. A smaller rectangular window is also present on the first floor above the doors. The rear (west) wall has been altered.
