Description

Esther Place is a cottage, dating from the later 18th century, which has been converted into a house. It is constructed from watershot coursed sandstone and features a slate roof with gable chimneys. The building has two bays and two storeys, presenting a symmetrical façade. The plain doorway is complemented by stepped triple-light windows at the ground floor and stepped five-light windows at the first floor, all of which now have diamond lattice glazing. At the rear, there is a doorway and three small windows at the ground floor, along with two stepped triple-light windows at the first floor. The interior is likely to have been used for domestic weaving.
