Description

This is an early 19th-century house, now occupied by a Citizens' Advice Bureau. It is constructed of dressed sandstone with a stone slate roof and gable chimneys. The building has a double-depth plan and two bays. It is three storeys high and almost symmetrical in design. Features include a plinth and a moulded cornice. The doorway, offset slightly to the right of centre, has a plain surround and a panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above. There are two windows at ground floor level, and three windows on each floor above, all with sash windows and plain stone surrounds.
