Description

The tower, located about 100 metres west of Crawshaw Hall, is a Grade II listed structure situated at the top of a wooded slope. It was originally the top of an underground chimney flue from the former Sunnyside Printworks, which dates back to 1839. The tower is made of rock-faced sandstone and has a square section, standing approximately 20 feet high. It features diagonal buttresses that extend above a prominent cornice, culminating in crocketed pinnacles.
