Description

This sundial is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Wilfrid, 15 metres southeast of the chancel. The base, which is possibly from the 17th century, is made of sandstone and features six steps, arranged in a square shape. Atop the base is a turned column that has a cyma-moulded square capital. The sundial plate is made of brass and is octagonal in shape, although it has a broken gnomon.
