Description
The structure is a wall extending approximately 20 metres northeast from Browsholme Hall, likely built in the 19th century but containing earlier features. It is constructed of sandstone rubble. The wall includes a gateway with rough long-and-short jambs and a lintel that has two cyma-moulded segmental arches meeting at a fluted false keystone in the center. On the left side of the wall, there is a re-set piece of 17th-century masonry featuring a 'Celtic' carved head and gadroon decoration. Further to the left, the wall spans a stream, supported by a chamfered segmental arch with masonry marks on the voussoirs.
