Description
Laneside Farmhouse, built in 1782, is constructed of squared watershot sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The windows have plain stone surrounds and square mullions, with three lights on the left and two lights on the right. The door, located between the bays, also has a plain stone surround. Above the door is a sandstone plaque with a plain stone surround, inscribed with 'WA 1782'. There are chimneys at both ends of the house. Adjoining to the west is a barn built in the same style, which has a continuous roof with a wide entrance that features plain reveals and a segmental arched head. On either side of the barn entrance are doors with plain stone surrounds, although the left-hand door is blocked.
