Description

This is a late 18th-century house located on Wheatley Lane Road. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone, repointed in 1980. The house is three stories high and has a simple, slightly off-centre rectangular doorway with a rectangular window above it. Originally, there was likely a five-light window with a stepped head and flat stone mullions on each floor, but now only one light remains on the ground floor and one on each upper floor. A large door has been inserted on the right-hand side. A kneeler is present at the left end of the building. The group value context of this listing recognises its contribution to the wider character and appearance of the area.
