Description

A 17th-century farmhouse and barn combined into a single range, located near Roughlee, Booth, Blacko, and the Bar Road. The building is constructed of rubble and has a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high. The front of the farmhouse has a 6-light chamfered stone mullion window on the ground floor, with every other mullion removed. Above it is one 17th-century window from which the mullions have been taken out. To the right of the farmhouse is an 18th-century 3-light stone mullion window. The doorway has a deep, chamfered lintel. A lean-to extension to the right features a 4-light chamfered stone mullion window. The barn, situated to the left, is taller and includes small, square ventilation openings and one irregular window. A modern lean-to extension has been added over the doorway.
