Description
Nos 7-16 on Carriers Row is a row of 10 terraced cottages, with Nos 15 and 16 being back to back, dating from the late 18th century. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble and feature a stone slate roof. Nos 7 and 15 project forward from the rest of the row, while Nos 7 and 8 are taller than the others. Each doorway has one 2-light sash window to the left. The mullions have been removed from Nos 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15. On the first floor, there are two square sash windows in each cottage. The doorways are generally plain, except for Nos 7 and 15, which have a frieze and pediment supported by moulded consoles.
