Description

This is a house, now divided into two separate dwellings. It largely dates to the 17th century, although it has undergone significant alterations, particularly with the addition of a right-hand bay and the rear elevation in the late 18th century. The exterior is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. The house is two stories high. The ground floor has two large windows, which have been altered. To the right is a two-light window from the 18th century, with sash windows. The first floor has one four-light and two three-light stone mullion windows. A further 18th century three-light mullioned sash window is located to the right. A gabled porch features a doorway with a three-centred arch. An inscribed datestone above the doorway reads 'C S/1775'.
