Description

Blakey Bridge Number 144 is a public road bridge built in 1794, designed by engineer Robert Whitworth. The bridge is constructed from furrowed dressed stone blocks and features a single elliptical arch supported by rusticated voussoirs. It has a band and a coped parapet, with curved abutments that terminate in piers.
