Description
Hollinhead Farmhouse is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is built of watershot sandstone and has a roof made of stone slate and slate. The house has a double-pile plan and features a symmetrical design with two storeys, an attic, and three bays. The exterior includes chamfered quoins and a plain band at the first-floor level. The windows have projecting stone surrounds and square mullions, with three lights in most windows, except for the central window on the first floor, which has two lights. The entrance door is framed by a shouldered architrave, flanked by pilaster strips with brackets, and features a pulvinated frieze and a moulded segmental pediment. The gables are topped with chimneys and have copings with kneelers. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey.
