Description

This is a mid-19th century house with two attached cottages, located on Lonsdale Road in Over Kellet. The building is constructed with squared sandstone facades and has slate roofing. It is two storeys high. The windows are chamfered and feature mullions and hood moulds of a square section. The house itself is symmetrical, with three bays, and has eight-light mullioned and transomed windows on the ground floor. The first floor windows consist of two three-light windows, with a central two-light window. The doorway is chamfered and has a four-centred head and a hood mould. The two cottages, which are a mirrored pair, each have one bay and centrally placed doorways with chamfered surrounds, triangular heads and hood moulds. The ground-floor windows of the cottages are two-light windows. The first-floor windows have two lights, with a central blank window of one light.
