Description
Cragg House is a house that was originally subdivided but has since been converted back into a single dwelling. The lintel features the inscription 'TD 1712'. The building is constructed of pebbledashed rubble and has a slate roof. It has a two-unit central-entry plan with gable stacks and now includes a second entrance to the left of the original door, which has plain reveals. There are two rebated and chamfered mullioned windows with three lights on each floor; the right-hand window on the first floor has had its mullions removed and replaced with a horizontal sliding sash. The chamfer of the door jambs extends around a battlemented lintel. At the rear, there is a two-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window in the left-hand wall of the wing.
