2/94 Russell's Farm House and farm 4-10-1967 buildings adjoining in same range

House, 1682, altered, with farm buildings probably late C18th and early C19th. Roof of slate, except for southern farm building which is tiled. End baffle-entry plan. 2 storeys. Windows have rebated and chamfered surrounds with mullions removed. On each floor there are 2, with a 3rd small 1st floor window to the right. Inserted door at left has plain reveals. At the right is the original doorway, with a moulded surround and with a lintel with leaf and tendril decoration and inscription: 'IRE 1682'. Chimney at right. Interior not accessible at time of survey, but said to have exposed ceiling beams and a built-in cupboard. To the left a farm building has 3 windows with plain reveals. To the right is a barn whose wide entrance has a stone lintel. To the right the former shippon end projects forwards. Its front wall has an inserted door and window under a lintel.
