Description

Beaumont Hall Bridge, built around 1797, is a road bridge designed by engineer John Rennie for the Lancaster Canal Company. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and features a concave plan with slightly battered abutments. The bridge has a semi-elliptical arch that includes a triple keystone, a decorative band above the arch, and parapets with rounded coping, along with rectangular terminals.
