Description

No. 9 The Nook is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of pebbledashed rubble with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. The building is symmetrical, standing two storeys high with three bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and set in plain stone surrounds. The door also has a plain stone surround. The farmhouse features gable stacks and copings. To the left, there is a lower wing that includes a sash window with glazing bars and a plain stone surround on each floor, along with a doorway with a plain stone surround to the right. A chimney stack is located on the left-hand gable.
