Description

No. 59 Market Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early 18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is rendered and features a slate roof. It has three low storeys and one bay. The ground floor has a shop front from the 20th century. On the first floor, there is a sashed window with slightly splayed reveals. The second floor has a window with splayed reveals and two 6-pane casements that are separated by a timber mullion. The gables of the adjacent buildings rise above the roof on both the left and right sides.
