Description

The boundary stone, dating from the mid-19th century, is made of sandstone and is semi-octagonal in shape with an ogee top. On the left side, it is inscribed with the words "LONSDALE SOUTH," while the right side bears the inscription "AMOUNDERNESS." This stone is located adjacent to the north parapet of Cocker House Bridge and is part of the boundary stone in Forton Civil Parish.
