Description

Canal Bridge Number 78, also known as Bagganley Bridge, is a stone bridge located on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, originally part of the Lancaster Canal South End. It was likely built in the 1790s. The bridge features an elliptical arch with a triple keystone and has buttressed piers at each end. The walls of the bridge are adorned with bands and parapets that have rounded coping.
