Description
Yarrow Cottage is a house that was formerly a curacy, built around 1800. It features white painted roughcast brick and has a low-pitched hipped slate roof. The building has a square plan measuring three by three bays, with various service extensions at the rear and side. It stands two storeys tall and has a symmetrical façade, with a central door that is topped by a semicircular fanlight with radiating glazing bars. The ground floor includes two large 16-pane sashed windows, while the upper floor has three 9-pane sashes. The eaves project, and there are two chimneys positioned closely together on the small central ridge. The left side has various service extensions, and there is a small bay window on the right return wall, with a wing that steps out to the rear. The rear and interior of the cottage have been altered.
