Description

The base of a former cross, possibly from the medieval period, is located on the south side of the road at the corner of the drive to Church House Farmhouse in Bretherton. Made of stone, the base measures approximately one metre square with tapered sides and stands about 20 centimetres high above ground level. The upper surface features a filled-up circular recess.
