Description
The Griffin is a public house built in the late 18th century and 19th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a slate roof. The building has two bays and is double depth, with a central entrance. To the right, there is a three-bay addition made in the 19th century, along with a further lean-to. The structure includes stone quoins and a small eaves cornice. The entrance features a six-panel door with a later canopy above it. The windows are sash style, with the upper floor of the three-bay addition retaining original glazing bars, while the ground floor has 20th-century replacements. There are two chimney stacks located at the ridge.
