Description
The White Cottage is a house dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of brick with a slate roof. The original part of the house is a two-bay, two-storey structure from the 18th century, with a door situated on the right-hand side. A two-storey wing was added in the 19th century to the rear, alongside a further 19th-century bay. Each of the original two bays has a segmental brick arched window on the ground floor and a flat-headed window on the first floor, all retaining multi-paned leaded casements. The 19th-century door is located to the right of the second bay. The third bay features a two-storey canted bay window with sash windows. Three ridge stacks are present. The building possesses group value.
