Description

This is a house dating from the 18th century, built upon earlier fabric. It is constructed of Flemish bond brickwork, with timber framing visible in the gable and at the rear, and has a slate roof, replacing what was originally thatch. The house has three bays, with the first bay slightly less deep than the others. The ground floor features segmental-headed brick arched window openings, while the first floor has flat-headed openings. The windows are 3-light casements from the 20th century. The main entrance door, set within a heavy frame, is located in the second bay. The roof is punctuated by a single dormer window and features two ridge stacks. The rear elevation exhibits square timber framing, and the gable displays an exposed tie-beam truss.
