Description
Oakfield Cottage and The Cottage are two semi-detached houses built around 1830. They feature rendered brickwork and a slate roof. Each house has a central-staircase plan and stands two storeys tall, with three bays. Both houses have a projecting plinth and eaves, a central entrance with leaded glass doors, overlights, and timber trellis porches. On the ground floor, there are two triangular-headed windows with gothic glazing bars, hoodmoulds, finials, and stone sills. Oakfield Cottage (No. 75) has two first-floor windows, while The Cottage (No. 77) has three, each consisting of two lights with flat heads, splayed jambs, stone sills, and original glazing bars. Both houses have gable stacks.
