Description
31B, 31C, and 32 Fairfield Square are three houses built in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. They are constructed of header bond brick and feature a slate roof. Each house has a total of six bays and two storeys, with a central entrance and windows on either side. No. 32 retains much of its original appearance, including a four-panel door and two three-light casement windows on each floor, which have stone sills and cambered brick arches. The other two houses have had their door openings modified to include pilasters, overlights, and flat hoods, and their window openings have been altered to fit four-pane sashes. Additionally, the eaves of these houses have been raised, and there are four ridge chimney stacks.
