Description
Nos. 15, 16, and 17 Fairfield Square are three houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from header bond brick and topped with a slate roof. Each house is either one or two bays wide and has two storeys. The original doors have been replaced with six-panel doors, and the windows are also replacements, featuring ten and twelve panes as well as four tripartite sash windows. All windows have stone sills, and the ground floor windows are adorned with cambered brick arches. The buildings feature four ridge chimney stacks. There is a lean-to structure against the left gable, and the rear includes wings and outshuts from various periods.
